Project management office (PMO) is a group in the IT function, responsible for providing management reports, establishing
guidelines, and a governance framework. The role is not limited to administrative function. PMO is a value center and be a vital part
of business profitability by closely monitoring outcomes from the investments.
We are looking for bright individuals who have passion for driving results from Digital function with focus on operational excellence.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in PMO Governance, overall 5+ years of work experience.
Ideally candidates should have:
PMO Lead Job Responsibilities:
1. Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
2. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing
new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
3. Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally
and externally.
4. Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
5. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
6. Ensures all the SDLC documentation and become the custodian
7. Managing risk involved in releasing a new product or service, the QA lead identifies risk and creates plans to mitigate it.
8. Throughout all phases of product development, QA leads report progress, plans, and problems to upper management and
other involved parties.
9. Leads the ask for feedback from upper management and implement the suggested changes in as efficient a way as
possible.
PMO Lead Qualifications / Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work
experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology industry role
3. Excellent oral and written communication
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills
5. High attention to detail
6. Ability to work under indirect supervision
7. Broad understanding of information technology topics
8. Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
9. Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills
10. Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
11. Technically creative and open-minded
12. Expertise with personal computers in a secure network environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint), Test management tools (JIRA, Redmine, Bugzilla) or similar software
13. Proven track record of strategizing and evolving testing strategies.
14. Must have managed the roadmap for web and mobile products (Android/iOS) in the financial services industry.
15. Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
16. Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
17. Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
18. Strong .Net, Java, PHP development experience.
19. Exposure to UI development
20. Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration
management and code refactoring
21. Defining and monitoring productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics.
22. Proven experience in managing and facilitating the mix of internal teams and external vendors as a part of product
buildout.
