Key Responsibilities
As a specialist resource, responsible for consulting, advising, recommending, designing, and where appropriate deploying, specific technical solutions based on own specialist product knowledge and best practices in the subject area, for standard projects, in order for solutions to be delivered successfully and provide value to the customer.
· Responsible for the architecture design & development of one or more product components
· Identify appropriate technology & product features fitting business requirements & build highly scalable enterprise-class features. Ability to make appropriate technology choices weighing the technical pros and cons.
· Display a high degree of ability to understand a new business domain, product requirements & the technology underpinnings.
· Understand key business metrics of the SaaS Products and implement & track those in the product working closely with Product Strategy.
· Work across product teams to drive product direction and technical strategy to meet market requirements.
· Display great ability in collaborating with Business Strategy, Product Strategy and own team to come up with solutions for business cases.
· Customer involvement activities for key product features including demos.
· Provide thought leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, designers, and testers, and drive product direction to meet market requirements. Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge
· Drive innovation activities for the product development team by continuously coming up with improvements for features
· The ideal candidate shall have deep experience in design and development of enterprise applications using cutting edge web technologies
· Proven track record of software product delivery in multiple environments, with a high-quality team management experience, is essential.
· Minimum 14+ years of experience in Software Product Development at an enterprise level with at least 7+ years in Web 2.0 technologies
· Experience of software architecting in at least one large development organization or at a successful high-tech software product start-up
· Demonstrated technical capability in designing & architecting multi-tenancy SaaS products and applications using modern tech stacks for data-intensive low latency platforms.
· Good knowledge of web development technologies e.g. JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
· Expert level knowledge of back-end and front-end web frameworks like Node.js, ReactJS, Angular, etc Preferable knowledge of other JavaScript dialects like CoffeeScript, TypeScript etc.
· Good knowledge of structured and unstructured database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, etc. Experience in Data warehouse/Data lake design would be an added advantage.
· Expert level knowledge of Linux deployments in Cloud platforms like Azure/AWS
