 Job Description for Oracle Apps Technical Consultant

Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms, PL-SQL,

Good exposure at modules level, emphasis on implementation and enhancements.

Be a key player in the translation and/or design of functional requirements into technical designs within the oracle systems.

Develop/maintain oracle custom code and interfaces to oracle forms - based applications in accordance with business requirement.

Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, and triggered from UI events or database triggers, to implement complex business logic.

Utilize and apply other oracle development tools such as oracle forms, oracle report.

Work with functional consultants to come out with the appropriate technical for business requirements.

Document all technical designs as well as comment or annotate actual development

Product(code) according to the company's IS documentation standards

Be responsible for complete unit testing and integration testing with other custom components and the larger oracle application.

Good knowledge of Shell scripting, Java, SQL tuning, Designing of OAF pages is a plus.

Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.

• 3+ years of experience in managing Java-based projects.

• 3+ years of experience in development and maintenance projects.

• 3+ years of experience in agile methodologies (like Scrum) and concepts (Sprint, Release, Backlog, etc.)

• 5-8 years of experience in Production Quality Software Development.

• Experience of working in a diverse or multiple stakeholder environment.

• Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.

• Good understanding of application development with Microservices Architecture.

• Prior experience in agile development methodologies, namely Scrum and/or Kanban.

• Comfortable working in an onsite-offshore environment.

• Experience in cloud services, preferably on AWS or Azure, with the ability to model and specify Consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with DevOps model of development and QA within a single team.

• Must have a strong sense of pragmatism in delivering value to the client.
