Client is an early stage Silicon Valley startup. We’re enabling a paradigm shift in the way drones; cloud and the SaaS platform are leveraged in commercial applications. Our proprietary drone solution enables full autonomy and scalability. Our IaaS/SaaS model, generates rich, actionable data for our commercial and enterprise customers. Our target market extends across a vast swath of commercial applications—including security, construction, sports, warehouse management, manufacturing logistics and law enforcement. Our founders have track record of founding multiple companies. We're still in stealth mode but we're funded by blue chip investors, and have a dynamite team in both US and India. This is a great opportunity to be an early member of the Vimaan platform team to build, deploy and scale the platform.

Our Client  Indias R&D center in Bengaluru is playing a critical role in the product and algorithm development. We are looking to hire an experienced and talented DevOps Engineers who are passionate about automating, maintaining and deploying next generation of products on the SaaS platform.

About the Role

As a Sr Cloud DevOps Engineers engineer, you will work across the stack and be responsible for the entire CICD pipeline. You’ll have bias for automation, be obsessed about customers, excessively collaborative to build and ship the whole CICD infrastructure. We are detail oriented and value clean and easy to maintain infrastructure, which seamlessly scales. You'll help architect and build our automation frameworks, CICD guidelines and policies. We love people who set and deliver aggressive goals and exceed on those goals. This position is at India R&D Center, Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities:

Creation of tools, automation scripts, and streamlined processes.
Build, manage, and maintain large-scale enterprise cloud environments (On-premise and public).
Strong background in deploying and managing Kubernetes and Containers based infrastructure
Publishes best practices for CICD and incorporates it across the organization
Partner closely with ML, Embedded and the Sr Management in design, architecture and deployment of the cloud infrastructure and deploying solutions in production
Be a subject matter expert on cloud technologies, CICD, cloud deployments, cloud security

Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in computer science or related with 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies.

Strong foundational knowledge in Containers, Kubernetes, Data Infrastructure, Architectural patterns, Algorithms, OOPS Principles
Hands-on experience in DevOps, CICD, Automation, and Orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Jenkins, etc.)
Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies like Containers, Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.
String development experience in the language like Java, C++, python, or similar technologies. Given we are a small team, you should be willing to work across the stack and learn new technologies quickly.
UNIX system administration, Git, SVN, monitoring tools, release management

Bonus points for experience on AWS, GCP, Azure, MWS, Cloud security, Orchestration Tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins etc)
Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based servers and services running various operating systems in an enterprise environment.
